First, Delta and this forum is an amazing source of information. I have spent every night this week reading posts. I have gone through all 80+ pages and have read a good portion of them.
For a while I have been trying to come up with some way to work for myself, something flexible, part time, not a large amount of cash needed but with some potential to make some good money etc..... but I haven't been able to come up with anything until last week. I am a stay at home dad (wife works) and my youngest is getting ready to start school full time so it is time to go back to work. After staying home for the last 5 years, a regular nine to five just isn't going to work. I need the flexibility to be able to take time off to still be there for my kids when they get sick, events at school etc....
Anyway, I got a chip in my windshield and went to have it fixed (carwash). I have had several chips fixed over the years. While the guy was doing his thing it hit me like a ton of bricks that doing WSR would be perfect. So I jumped on the internet and after a quick google search, here I am, very excited to say the list.
I have been reading the forum, taking some notes, doing research on what paper work it takes to start a business, listing out my to do list, coming up with a business game plan etc..... Its a lot and a little over whelming but I am trying to take this one step at a time.
I am most likely going to fly over to Delta for training. I can't imagine starting this without getting some hands on training.
Wish me good luck, we will see what happens.
Oh, after reading the posts on the forum, it appears I have been getting mediocre repairs in the past.
