Newbie advice

Post by dentmagic »

I am new to this biz. Have not even got my kit in yet. What I am looking for here is for you veterans to give some input. If I could learn one thing from each of you as far as starting this biz and being successful. What i am asking is for each of you to give one good start up and running biz tip. This could be a very useful thread for every one in this biz. Thanks!!

Tip #1: Get whatever in-person training is offered by the manufacturer of your kit and practice repairs after that on a junk windshield until you feel confident in your repair abilities.

I Would Have To Say, Practice Until You Dont Want To Fix Another
Windshield Ever Again, Than Practice Some More, Each And Every
Break Is Different In Its Own Way, Some Look Like There Going
To Be Easy , And End Up Being Very Difficult, And Vice Versa.
Experiment As Much As You Can When You Get Your Equipent
With Out Wasting To Much Resin, Find What Works For You Adn
The Windshield. Be Patient Also , A Lot Of Sites Out There Are
Claiming Certain Finish Time For Fixes, Work That Brake Until
Every Crack Is Filled. Good Luck Newbie.
