How many repairs do you get a day!?

This being our third month it would be of interest to see how others are doing... I know we all have need of improvement but what are you averaging a day? Keep in mind this is how many windshields you fix not how many cracks.

For example screenman has done 33,000 repairs in 18 years. With about 240 working days that's 7.6 a day.

I avg. 6-7 a day knocking doors from 4-8:30 p.m. And avg 9-10 a day at tent locations.

I'm averaging a few a week at the moment. However it is slowly picking up. This week has been up with 15 - 20 chips and 2 long crack repairs(20 - 24) inches and I have a few more scheduled still this week.

The biggest difficulty I have however is juggling active duty Air Force and WS repair.

Insurance work, mostly All State, is steady but definantely not enough and should not be relied upon.

More recently I have been handing out flyers door to door around where I live. That has been ok so far but still to early to tell. In about 4 months or so I'll have a better handle on how that is going. I also have permission from the management at a local mall to slip business cards under the wipers of vehicles with damage. There has been no repsonse to that at all in the last 4 months. So I'm changing that up and ordered some new cards as a $15 off coupon. I'll staple the 2 together and see what happens after I hand out 500 of them. And I ordered those, very basic too, from Staples for only $20.

I haven't done it yet but I will be running an add in the local paper within the next month.

Other than that, it has been word of mouth, 2 commercial accounts(very recently added I might add) and some lettering on my truck.

very slow for me. be lucky if i do one a day.
one man inshop only. repair and replacement.
just order another delta kit/bridge today,now have two kit..
just in case i have to repair 2chips at the same time..

To date, this year my average number of windshields repaired per day is 7.5.
I'm mobile only (20 mile radius) no employees and going on 13 years. Work an average 27 hours per week and no weekends!
I do retail, insurance, dealerships, rental agencies, a few fleets and of course cash. I've never used a tent and never knocked on doors.
Retail is $59.95 (COD) and wholesale is $35. Insurance varies from $49.95-$79.95, depending on the network.

I live in 1 of the 10 biggests citys in the us and there is alot of competion
and I started walking car lots and used car lots showing my face and offering
a free demo to the used car maneger. and if they liked the work and the price
and mostly if they like you and your attitude you should get the account.you will get alot of no just like me but you dont let that stop you from going back
see used car manegers move around alot or some time if they keep seeing you they will feel more confidence in trying you. remeber a dealership does not want to burn any bridges with other companys or potential customers. in one year of doing this I have account with 27 dealership I visit each week.
and take on employees cars and other source for other cars on the side. So buy this I can do 10 cars a day.:eusa_wall :eusa_wall
