Re: UK MOT TESTING Windshield repair
I am sorry to hear about Walt I actualy pinched the idea of starting a training centre over here from something I read about him years ago.
Big Welshman no problem with MOT and screen repair I could fill you in on some of the regs. but it will be quicker for you to search on google.
Insuarnce companies at the moment some are paying this may stop soon as I think they will go over to only paying approved suppliers. They are getting ripped by many untrained poor quality tech popping up everywhere.
Pricing about what you lot charge but in

Re: UK MOT TESTING Windshield repair
Walt Gorman had been in the Windshield repair buisness for the past 20 years, he did advise me that he had some Burger King franchises once. How he got into the repair buisness, while in NH or Maine on vacation he noticed somebody was repairing a car windshield and of course he was over checking it out, so that is how he stared as a late bloomer in the buisness. Walt was one of the founder members of the NWRA approx 10 years ago. He would keep you informed of all the news-I last spoke to him about 2weeks ago he told me he was in Mississippi he was asking me if the insurance reform or anti stearing bill had been passed here in Mass I told him no word yet WALT he replied to me, and said maybe next year
