Ag41 I've Used Delta For 8-9-10 Yrs And I Love The Kit "i Wish It Had More Of A Vaccume" But I Love It. However My Techs. "they Love Them" But Break Them. It's My Techs. Fault They Don't Keep Them Clean Enough So They Lock Up & Then They Play Superman And Twist The Ears. So For The Past 1-2 Yrs I've Used Other Kits For My Techs.
But I Hear The Top Of The Injector Is Solid ? And Stays Cleaner ?
Thanks For The Reply !

I have one of the new ones. I go for the old style injector first.
The spring feels weaker than the old one. Don't forget to clean it at the end of every day. The knurls, while comfortable, feel slippery. I like to have something I know isn't going to slip out from between my fingers. I do not find that it is easier to clean. And for my biggest issue with it and main reason for not really liking it as much as I hoped. With the injector in the up position, it is succeptible to coming out of the ears very easily. I've had it snap down on me several times while screwing it in. If the resting position was deeper or if the injector shaft was cut to match the resting "saddle" then that might not happen.
I do like that the seal is set in further to disuade expansion from injector pressure. Oh and it doesn't take as many turns to thread the injector into bridge.
So no, It's not what I hoped or expected.

Re: Wow ! "delta Forum And No Replies"
Mike,
Does your injector look exactly like this:

If not, give me a call right away and we'll get you fixed up. From your description, it sounds like you got one of the "beta" ones by accident. There were a few that got out that were like you describe.
When looking, look at the head of the piston very closely to see if it looks exactly like yours. As I said, give me a call right away and we'll get the problem sorted out for you!

I like the new injector better than the old. To me, the threading is easier, the pressure seems better, the insertion of resin is much better and it just looks and feels better.
I also received a B300 bridge with my new injector. I had been using 2 B200. I think the B300 is much better. The "pump" suction seems to be much stronger and sturdy than the B200 "lever".
So far (after only 3 repairs) I am very pleased with the new injector and B300 bridge.

JAC, a little tip for your B200 bridges. The bridges i use have the same lever style cup. If you moisten the cup with a little water before applying it to the windshield it will hold better. I can understand if you like the pump style cup better, but if you have the others you might as well use them. I keep a small spray bottle filled with water for this. You could pull the white off of teeth with these cups if the are lubed a little.
Re: Wow ! "delta Forum And No Replies"
The B-300 Is Great The Pump Is Very Stable. But I Allways Have My Lever Bridge With Me Just Incase That Little Felt Thing Inside The B-300 Pump Is Lost ! To Many Times " Allways Have Extra" I Use 3 Different Types Of Bridges I Like To Have Options Sometimes You Just Need More Vaccume !
Thanks For The Feed Back Everyone ! I Should Recieve My New Kits Today ! I'm Excited I Guess I'm Crazy About Glass !

Re: Wow ! "delta Forum And No Replies"
mafsu ..Personally I use some hand creme on my repair bridge cups(cheapy coconut stuff)as it makes the repair bridge quite mobile and any excess resin that runs down on them doesn't seem to be damageing or swelling the cups as of yet.Knock on wood..LoL.
Re: Wow ! "delta Forum And No Replies"
Yeah, I still have my B200 also. 1 of each. I'll try the wetting method next time.
Now, I've got a new problem. I don't have a "felt thing" in the suction cup of my B300. Is it supposed to be there while in use? If so, why?
JAC
ps toab, you mentioned resin running down to the suction cup. Do you not place the bridge above the damage?
