Scratch Removal?

Post by Deltaman »

I am a avid WS repair tech and I was thinking of adding scratch removal to my gear. What system is the best for scratch removal with no problems. I have heard good things about GlasWeld, Scratch Hog, IPS, etc. Which system seems to be the best? Would this be a good add on for not only scratches but hard water stains? Thanks for your help and I know you guys have valuable info.
Thanks

I bought a system from Janvil in February and have used it once. I can't say whether it's good or not because I haven't used any other system. [Janvil's system was inexpensive compared to others and I wanted to get my feet wet before I spent $K's.] However, I can say that scratch removal is messy and time consuming. I don't get requests from high-end car customers and those who do inquire -- well, lets say that they could buy a new WS for what they'd have to pay me for removing the scratches.

With ref to the above ,scratch removal can be a messy item you really have to mask a car off, or you will get the stuff all over the place it will take a long time to clear the car off--There is a need to do scratch removal on large pains of glass on buildings--Equipment GT system does not work --Glass weld System and Novus system work OK

How about the IPS system compared to Glasweld/Novus?
