Uv Blocking Dome. Any Good??

Post by fix a chip »

Anyone using the UV Blocking Dome, is it any good?

Does is stop all UV getting to the repair area preventing premature curing???

Lost my shield last week so thought about buying one of these instead.

Also, has anyone done deltas training, Any good as a refresher course???

Thanks in advance for any help,

I have one.
I like it. It works well.
The only thing I dont like about it is that it is bulky.
It does attract attention, though and looks high tech.

I use one. It definately gets attention. My customer today was more inquisitive about the dome than he was about his 3 chips I repaired in his Jeep.

Shipping was expensive, but it was worth it.

Since the dome seems to get so much attention, I'm thinking about putting some vinyl lettering on it for advertising. Something short, but in big letters like...

They are wonderful! I have used it to block out the winter wind, as well as water & UV. Plus like everybody has said, it looks WAY high tech and people are very interested in it. But then again, you may end up having to explain every step and movement because you now have an audiencetongue:
