Training

Post by Garvey »

Hey guys,

I just got back from training with Screenman who I met on Doording.com and I've gotta give him some kudos!

They made me feel totally at home and over the course we must have done easily 100+ repairs on the practise screen. They also taught me some very shrewd marketing techniques and how to get more money out of your customers! I would recommend this course to anyone in the UK who wants to learn windscreen repair to an excellent standard (I only got back on Thursday and have already completed 3 repairs to as good if not better a standard to the guys doing it round here). Graham also supplied all the equipment that I needed (Delta) and I've gotta say that stuff is fantastic!

Right now I feel totally competent and comfortable to offer all my existing customers the windscreen chip service.

Thank you Screenman, I wish you all the best in the future.

This guy was great, not only did he learn very fast, I even managed to get him to show me some good PDR tips, many thanks.

This guy has business just right, he is already a very succesful PDR man but he is also ready to invest money in his greatest asset, himself, if any of you did not know that.

If you are thinking about doing something in business do it now before someone else does. That customer you have not seen for a couple of months drop in before someone else does.

If you do nothing different have you noticed how nothing changes.

Garvey thats great to hear, how much training did you have there and had you any experience before you went to see the Screen Man dude.

It was very intense because we didn't have much time cos I couldn't leave work for too long. I had no previous experience with glass, but I do now feel totally confident to have a go at anything (my first job was a porsche 911). Give screenman a call and he'll explain everything to you in detail. When I called we reasoned if it was worth me doing (with the pdr and all), and then set a date.

Great, Screenman seems to be one of the few people in the UK who knows his stuff.

Good luck with it, PDR is a great add on but get good at one thing at a time or you will end up jack of all trades and master of none.
PDR and Windscreen repair go hand in hand very nicely. Keep up that healthy bank balance:wink:
