Direct Deposit

Has anyone signed up with Lynx to have Direct Deposit instead of waiting weeks for checks to arrive? I've been trying to get through the stupid voice computer at 239-479-6000, the State Farm side of Lynx, which where the Participant Services are located. If you call make sure you have your tax id handy and lots of patience because it seems to not like inputs when it asks for them.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has done this yet. I searched and didn't find anything newer than 2 years on the subject.

Hi Mike..yes i signed up a few weeks ago and have had several checks put in my account so far..Its okay with me..and by the way i signed up with harmon and safelite and they also have put checks in my account

Have you had enough time to figure out how long the average pay out is with DD?

I've been using direct deposit service with insurance for almost a year and funds have been transferred within 12-14 days. Nice to have money coming back to you this quick! All my fleet accounts pay on average 45-90 days.

Only one thing better than EFT.......and that is cash!!!!

Well, I wish I could get more cash customers. Heck, I'd be happy with one cash customer at this point. Over 1300 business cards distributed, 500 flyers handed out door to door and not a single response.

Just fill it out and fax it over to Lynx using the number at the bottom of the sheet. According to the represenative I spoke too, it is as easy as that.

Amen brother Ben. Most of us have alread found that out. It just don't work. If you are going to stay in this business, work yourslf up a very brief , GOOD, sales presentation and then get results. FACE TO FACE WORKS. :eusa_ange

face to face doesn't seem to get me any farther than, "oh, that's nice" and "How wonderful"

I'll begin a new advertising campaign in the next few weeks and see how that goes. I plan to give it 6 months and if nothing, then I'll change it up some. The business is here, I see loads of cars all over my area that need the service, is just getting the people to do something.

I've talked to a handful of people about it and they think it has to do with the people in the area and the lifestyle by which they live. All money and too rich to be bothered by something so trivial it seems.

I believe there is a way to be successful in this area, I just have to find it.

I want to get back on topic for a moment....

I still get my checks snail mail. Maybe takes longer but I like getting a check & stub for accounting purposes. I know exactly when checks get deposited and feel I have more control. I am open to EFT but unsure

With EFT what kind of notice are you getting when funds transferr? Do they provide some sort of deposit statement? Or do you find out when you get a bank statment?

Brian...They will send you an email and when you open it will have a pdf file which you can open and you will see an invoice which you can print out if you want..i then go to my quickbooks open invoices and mark paid..very simple..

I just want to clarify. The notification email, is it sent on the same day the EFT is made or is it a monthly type of thing? I want to know the same day any activity has happened in my account.
