State sales tax

[FONT=Arial]Do our money thirsty governments hunger for never ending tax revenue tax on everything? [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial]Sales tax differs from state to state so it's best to check yours.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial]This can be done on internet through your states tax comptroller.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial]Here's a report I received from my state of Texas regarding sales tax.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial]I noticed on Safelite's faxed work orders that they ask for state sales tax. I will have to get straight with them.
Eliminating sales tax gets rid of a bundle of paperwork and less headaches.

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the taxability of windshield repair.
You state:
"I repair rockchip damaged windshields. 99% of my repair is labor with about 8-10 cents worth of resin used. Do I need a sales tax license to continue in
business and do I charge sales tax on labor?
