Headlight Safety

Post by jonnyques »

This is some information on health risks with the powder created when sanding headlights. I stated once before its important to do it wet. Heres the info I was given.

http://www.osha.gov put in 1910-1045 in the search box

read the article titled "Acrylonitrile"

I was told that its only dangerous when in its powered state. Wet sanding should be OK.

Try searching for "1910.1045" (note the period). That'll get you a bit closer.

I went to the osha.gov site and searched Acrylonitrile, it popped right up.

Safety is should be our number one issue.
