Going on 2 wheels

Post by scratchy »

When gas goes through the roof this summer I am going to be doing WSR by motorcycle. I am going to be using a Suzuki DL650 with saddle bags and rear trunk. It will be getting 45+ mpg around town. The only problem is I won't be able to answer calls while riding so I will leave the business phone at home and check in after jobs to figure out where the next one is going to be.

Buy yourself a Brugmann scooter ,more space to put your kit in and you will stay clean at the same time. People ride these scooters in their costume to the office. Nowadays you can buy helmets with cell phones installed, have your business number at home forwarded to that number. This way you stay well informed all the time and able to talk while you're riding. With a 12 volt accessory plug in the luggage compartment you can charge your drill or cell phone when needed.
My 2 cents advise.

What town in Texas do you live, because the good wether conditions we have overhere in the south.

I have used a motorbike for about 8 years and it is great. The only problem I have is I want to carry on riding instead of doing the job. BMW with 3 hard boxes.

It's my one toy I wasn't allowed to have when I was married before. Now, my fiance loves the bike and is completely willing to go with me. So, i've got that, then i've got a $800 92 Corolla! :) Of course then the kid mobile, but I either ride my bike or drive the Show Car (Corolla). Rust is really just a color, right? Like two-tone. ;)
