Stayed home and finally got the grass cut and yard trimmed. What a way to spend the 4th but I actually relaxed. Had to take advantage of NO RAIN. Tomorrow & the weekend the rain returns. This is the No. Texas Rain Forest. Certainly hurt business, expecially my weekend tent set-up. Happy 4th to everyone.

Bois,
Do you have any customers while setting up your tent in the week-ends ?
I work mondays throught fridays and don't expect to have any business in the week-end.
From my location I see Saturdays dozens of cars drive by and they are in a too big hurry to get their boat in the water of Lake Conroe and Sundays I see only churchgoers passing by and they have no time either to stop with their family in the car.
I just wonder.....?

Cazador, I set up Friday & Saturday's near Lake Tawakoni in Hunt county at a very busy intersetion. I've been setting up there for 2 years and people in the area know it. There's also been a lot of highway road construction in the area leaving many people with chips. Construction's been going on for 2 years on various roads. There's a lot of people who live in the area who work in the DFW metroplex who drive 50+ miles on 70 mph roads every day. They're bound to get chips ocassionally. I don't work Sundays. I also have a small sign (real estate size) with my number on the site so people can call me when I'm not there. There's also a car/tire repair center next to my spot. The owners refer customers and hand out my number if they get inquiries.
