Business Cards

I think I may have read in the forum where someone wrote they didn't pass out any business cards but took THEIR phone number. I thought that strange but got to noticing.
When I spoke to anyone about repairs and they perhaps are in a rush to go somewhere or someone who spoke to me in a parking lot I would pass out a card and wait for a call which NEVER came.
I reversed my strategy and when they ask for a card, I ask for THEIR phone number. Now I had THEM on the ropes and now get 100% appointments.
I conclude that as soon as people ask you for a card, it is the same as "Yawn,
don't bother me, Ill call you."
When I'm finished I give them one of my super-duper, hand made 3-D business cards and get refferals. This business is as hard as you make it to be.
