Me again folks.
I'm going to be trying a tent set up starting sometime next week. Got a good deal on a tent (On clearance for 30 bucks). Gonna be doing headlight restoration and WR.
For you fellas that have used tents, do you put your cash price for the service on your sign, or wait 'til the customer stops to break it to them then?
I was going to put "Windshield Rock Chip Repair" and "Headlight Haze Removal" on there with the prices and my cel number at the bottom for people who pass by and want to call about it first.
Thoughts? I just want to get input from you guys on the wordage to make the signs as effective as possible in getting people to stop.
I know some of you guys are dead set against tent set-ups and I understand that. One reason being the down time between customers. I love to read, so downtime would not be a problem to me. I just need to get some money coming in until my cold calling efforts can bring in some accounts and business.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. ~Mark Twain

How can you cold call if you are sitting at a tent? Sam's has some really nice LSU purple and gold awnings for around $200 here. This awning over there would draw you plenty of attention.

I wouldn't post prices. Along with stating services I'd put some wording to the effect "ask for details" so they stop and you have time to sell/educate them on the services.
