Innovative Polishing Systems (IPS)
Innovative Polishing Systems (IPS)
Hey guys! It's the newbie again but hopefully this time I will not stir up so much dirt... I know ALOT of you guys are really happy with the dvelup system and have heard all of the positives regarding their system. I have seen the "Poly Hog" or Diamond Clear Acrylic Pro by Glass Technology and it does look somewhat similar to the acrylic kits on the IPS website but I have read on the forum that GT's sealer does not last very long. I know I hear alot of complaining on here about IPS and the fact that they insist upon training but I really don't mind getting trained as I would like to do the best job I can for my customers. That being said, however, I am not having much luck finding people that actually use the IPS system (other than GTech). There seems to be some consensus that IPS does have superior sealer but I would like to hear from some people here on the forum that have ACTUALLY used the IPS system. Anybody?!?!
Sincerely,
Allen

Re: Innovative Polishing Systems (IPS)
Hi Allen,
We used to use the GW system for scratch removal and it does work. It was made for GW by IPS. Never used the headlight system but I would be willing to say it works just as well. I am currently using a much simpler system and much less costly kit. I heard GW and IPS had a falling out some years ago but this is just hear say.

Hi Allen..I have been using the IPS system for 2 years and am very happy with it..very happy with their sealer..The owner of IPS(Dave) can come across as grouchy or arrogant..he does not like people trying to cut corners or try to buy his product that he has not trained..he really is a nice guy..he is very knowledgeable ...
Re: Innovative Polishing Systems (IPS)
Mr. Chip,
I have NO problem with Dave. As I mentioned earlier, I WANT to be trained so that I can do a good job for my customers. I spoke with him at length and am planning on going down to FL in the next couple of weeks. I have NO intention of cutting corners. I just want to buy the best system out there. I was simply trying to find some of you guys that have actual experience with the IPS system that I could speak to as well. Thanks for responding. As soon as I accumulate enough posts, I will be happy to PM you to get your phone number.

Hey Engineer,
I have been using the IPS for both plastics and glass for about 3 years with consistant results. I've tried several different systems and continue to come back to my IPS products. If you PM me for my phone number I will be glad to help you any way I can.
Dean
