Invoicing?

Is there a way to invoice the insurance co. other then safelite? and is that mandatory?

Most TPAs (i.e. Lynx, Safelite, ETC.) allow you to fax in your invoices, but most will charge you a fee for paper processing.

If you are talking about direct billing the insurance companies and bypassing the TPAs it is possible, but difficult. It all comes down to first contact with the customer...if they call your first you can direct them to their actual insurance company to file a general claim instead of a glass only claim through the TPA. But if the customer calls the number on the back of their insurance card first you are pretty much screwed. HTH.
