Hey Starman,
Ok, lets look at this. Are you using a pit filler resin to finish off your chips?? Are you curing them completely? What are you doing on the chip repair??

Starman,

Little trick for good pit fills I call them (caps). Make sure when you have a large pit area that you prepare it properly, this is the main reason I use my drill. If you see shiny glass inside the pit make sure you take your drill and scuff it all up it

thanks for the reply. I always drill then I put the pit fill at top of the pit and let run into the pit then put my flim over it and let the sun or light curn it about two mins. then pull the flim off and scrap it.and it looks good but dose not last.

Find a new pit fill resin. I've never had that problem in 10 years. It's hard to believe that you can scrape in over and over with a razor blade and it stays in yet, when it drives down the road it pops out. The resin must be shrinking and pulling away.
Buy new resin from another co.

Do any of you know how to cure pit resin where you don't have to scrap, thereby makeing the top of the chip clear and not white, like it has just been scraped. No need to polish or anything?? Checking to see if anyone has heard of how to do that. I just learned how to do it.
