2000 cavalier

Post by kenb81 »

I am going to be replacing my sons 2000 cavalier (2 door) windshield.
My question are, 1st) is this a ecappalzilated windshield if not 2) can the moulding be reused ? Or
if its removed do i need a new molding ? Can i just use a "J" molding?
Last question , Do i need to put the moulding on the windshield first before installing?
Thanks
Lee

This is encapsulated. Pilkington w/shield for these are supposed to be treated with krylox to prevent the glass from squeeking on the cowl. Other brands don't have this and you are supposed to use the krylox on them. This is an easy one to do. HTH
