Last Friday I was in the field starting to work on a car and it was something that I hadn't done before. It was a bulls eye, but it had a 2 inch leg coming off one side and a 1.5 inch leg directly across from it on the other side. I really wasn't sure whether to drill the long leg and terminate the crack before filling or not. I know this is routine for all the vets on here, I would have passed on the repair with my old equipment, so I picked up the phone. I apologize for not remembering the name of the very knowledgeable women that helped me out. I told her what I was looking at and she walked me through it. Repaired it like a normal bulls eye and gently manipulated the resin into the legs. It looked awesome when I got done. About 30 minutes after I was done with the job I was on the way to lunch with my wife and "DELTA CALLED ME BACK" to see how the repair had gone! I love my new equipment and the support that goes with it can't be beat. The fact that they took upon themselves to pick up the phone after I called them for help to make sure I got the job done and done right, well that assured them of a very loyal customer for life!
Hope ya'll have a good day. Again, I'm sorry I can't remember your name : ).

Sincerely,

Sean Yoder

I'd love a check! Heck I need a check! Seriously though, they blew me away. I have only had maybe 2 other companies follow up after the fact like that in my entire life. I do it all the time in the hopes that it will finally pay me back a bit and I think I have found some folks that actually care about the customer. Shock and Awe indeed!

You bring up an excellent point!

When considering a company to buy a windshield repair kit from, "CUSTOMER SERVICE & SUPPORT" should be at the TOP OF YOUR LIST!

While it's true that the equipment is very important, "customer support" is just as important. The finest most technically advanced ship in the world would be of little use without someone to guide it.

So, make "customer support" a high priority when choosing a repair kit. In dealing with Delta Kits, I have always found the staff to be very helpful and "AVAILABLE!"

The worst thing for a "new repair tech" to run into, is to be on a job and call for help...only to get the voicemail or to get this response: "all of our support staff are unavailable at the present time." Would you like to leave a message for a callback?"

Whoever you decide to go with (purchasing a repair kit), DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Call their support line and ask questions. See if they are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer your questions.

If they seem rushed, a little unfriendly or unknowledgeable....my advice is to RUN from this company.
