Pricing Structure - Based on a Ins. Company will pay out ???
I would like to make my pricing structure to the maximum a Ins. company will pay out all while making it FREE to the customer.
For Example:
What if A Insurance company will only pay a maximum of $55.00. Because they base it on the lowest rate in my area. So I would want to setup my pricing structure like this:
If my price is $35.00 for the 1st ding, And $10 additional for other dings up to 2 more dings. Total $55.00
Or Assuming the majority of people have just 1 ding. I would want to structure my price like this:
$45.00 forthe 1st ding, And $5.00 for any additional up to 2. Thus maximizing my profits.
Thanks,
Chris

David,
I agree that $35.00 would be low. The majority of Mobile WSR owners in my area charge $59.95 for the 1st And $10 X-tra up to 2 more. for a Total of $79.95.
However, The local DixieGlass company charges $35.00 for a single ding. How can the Mobile WSR owners in my area compete with this?
What I don't understand is why they would charge that low amount, Especially if the majority of Comp. Ins. companies allow more?

Hey desertstars,
Ok.... So because Dixie Glass my local Repair / Replacement shop gets the majority of replacement jobs as their business they can afford to charge less for repairs.
Do you suspect this has any direct effect on what the Ins. companies allow mobile WSR companies to collect?
Thanks,
Chris

hey thats why I like act they know what each insurance companys limit price is and thats what the charge. the3 I did with them today 2 were $60 first break $10 per after up till a total of 3 and one was $50 first and $20 after sure the sevice is $7.95 but there is never a question of whether I left any $ on the table
Cool...
So your satisfied with ACT because of the simple fact that they know Ins. companies Prices / Limits are and thats what they charge, of course after you send act the claim rite?
Assuming that lynxs does'nt know these limits and expects the WSR company to know, You would have to call the Ins. Company before hand To file the claim with Lynxs. Of course after the first time with that Ins. company I would write down their limits for future reference.
I can't believe you pay $7.50 per claim just because you lack knowing the limits per Ins. company. Why don't you just take the time to call the Ins. company to ask, Write it down for future reference, And file claims through lynxs or safelite depending on the Ins. company. Would'nt this safe you some $$$ ?
Thanks,
Chris

So is peace of mind! What would you pay a secretary to handle your invoicing? It is a bit pricey, but it's done and from I have been reading it's done correctly and they don't play around with your money! I have not signed with any networks, ACT or decided whether to direct bill yet. Still gathering info. I can say that for the guy starting out there seems to be a ton of stuff to keep you occupied and if someone else can handle my Billing, well it's looking like a better deal all the time.
