I was driving up US1 yesterday and saw a Safelite guy doing a repair at a large RV dealer. I hung a u turn and sat and watched the show, after 15 min this guy didn't even have the injector out yet.
So I went on my way and stopped there on my way back, took a look at his work and the legs of the star were not filled. Got a hold of the manager and he said they had a glass guy and were happy with him.
Music to my ears, we looked at his work and there was another 2 RV,S with a star, offered a free repair and they let me do it. That one came out almost perfect, even I was suprised.
Anyway after they saw my work they paid me to do the other one, and said to come by every week to inspect thier lot, seems they did not notice the other 2 chips. It just feels good to turn the table on the big guys, didn't even have to say anything negative about them, their work spoke for them.
Took one from the big guys.....

You should have seen the look on their faces, that alone was worth a free repair. If it wasn't for this forum and all the support from you guys and gals, my repairs would still look like theirs.
Also my pdr buddy told me that they own another dealership 30 miles north of this one. Guess whereI'm going to visit before I hit the flying J today ??
