This is a first for me. Did a repair yesterday. In fact it was three chips. Before starting the repair I called the insurance company to verify coverage and they gave me a claim number. WEll, this afternoon, I got a call from the insurance company telling me that the customer only had liability and that I would have to collect from the customer. Not sure how after I asked them to verify coverage and they gave me a claim number for the repair that they could do this. Called them back again this afternoon but they weren't too cooperative and said that the supervisor would have to review this issue next week but that I should call the customer for payment.
Anyone else ever have this type of problem????

INSURANCE
Nationwide will only waive the deductible if the customers policy is $100 deduct in Vermont ( it varies in other states) I have called and got a claim # from the national desk and been called later to be told that in my state the customer isnt covered. The common misconception is that a claim # is the same as a approval # IT ISNT! anytime you call a insurance company they open a claim and assign it a# then after research they determine if its valid. A claim # doesnt really mean much always get an approval # and make sure you know the difference
