New Insurance Billing Solution
Re: New Insurance Billing Solution
Ok---just a thought. For those of us that have signed up for the EFT program, will we be able to do that through the insurance companies? Since Lynx will not be directly involved in the payment cycle...and the other contractors as well...this could impact direct payments to our bank.

Re: New Insurance Billing Solution
Another question Jeff. Will a copy of the invoice need to be forwarded to show a signature authorizing payment? Or will we just use the signature on file and retain it in case of audit from an ins provider?
My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!

Not 100% sure I understand the question, so make sure to correct me if i'm mistaken.Layne wrote:For those of us that have signed up for the EFT program, will we be able to do that through the insurance companies? Through eDirectGlass, you will still be going through Lynx and Safelite. Well, actually you can direct bill some insurance companies, but for the most part you will still be getting paid through Lynx & Safelite. So, if you've set up EFT through them, that will still happen.
Signature on file is fine.maxryde wrote:Will a copy of the invoice need to be forwarded to show a signature authorizing payment? Or will we just use the signature on file and retain it in case of audit from an ins provider?
The ads you have seen are for eDirect's Total Shop Manager programs, for full service glass shops. You can only get the lite (windshield repair only) version through Delta Kits. If you're currently billing through GlassComp, it only takes an average of approximately 8-9 repairs a month to save money with eDirect over GlassComp. In addition to the money savings though, the program offers MUCH more than GlassComp, such as customer databases, real time viewing of the status of all your claims, and much more.Blind Squirrel wrote:I have seen the ads for edirect in industry trade pubs and have actually contacted them twice to get information. The nice lady I spoke to had plenty to say but I just couldn't understand how this system would help me in my "repair only" business. My low volume of insurance business doesn't seem to justify this expense.
The cost is fixed, but is only $19.95 if you do 34 or less claims per month.Blind Squirrel wrote:It appears that the cost of $39.95 will be fixed so this volume of claims will have to be consistent to be cost effective.

Ok,
So I currently do manual billing through ACT for most claims, and full service for others. What would I have to do to make a seamless transfer to your service. Either the lite or direct billing option.
Thanks,
Heath

Re: New Insurance Billing Solution
Heath,
You would need to fill out these forms, and fax them back to us at 1.541.345.1591. Once that's done, it will take anywhere from 1-5 days to get all set up. Right now, with so many people signing up it's taking a little more than their goal of 24 hrs. Once signed up, you'll be eligible for a 45 minute phone consultation with eDirect where they walk you through their whole program, and show you exactly how to enter invoices, track your customers, track marketing campaigns, etc.
If you have any questions, give me a call (1.800.548.8332 ext. 305)!

Ok my edirectglass acct. is set up . I was told to go to Lynx services and fill out the metryx form. I actually thought that edirectglass was taking care of this for me. IE... eDirectGlass will obtain your network credentials with Safelite and Lynx services so you can obtain work authorizations and submit insurance billing. In addition to your credentials, you will receive special eDirectGlass pricing available only through Delta Kits!
Ok I went to Lynx and signed up for what I think I was supposed to and it said someone will contact me, no password or username emailed to me by Lynx. Am I mistaken or am I back where I started with the networks before edirectglass or is this just to get on their "referral" program? If anybody has signed up for edirectglass and understands what they are doing, could you strike up a conversation with me?Thanks, Bryan

Thank you for signing up for eDirectGlass. We know you will enjoy our products and services.
:eusa_hand First off, you DO NOT have to sign up with Metryx unless you want to receive electronic assignments. In our opinion, you will not receive ANY benefit by giving your information to Metryx/Lynx and that is why we do not set that up for you. If you noticed, the Metryx disclaimer has some pretty scary things that you have to agree to such as legal remedies and personal information that we do not have the ability to provide as an agent or 3rd party acting on your behalf. Also, many shops that have supplied their information to Metryx over the last few months have yet to receive any assignments so take that for what it is worth.
If you have faxed your Participant Application to Delta Kits, we do setup things behind the scenes and then advise you of additional details that can only be taken care of by you. These details are usually telephone verification of your application by the Network. In some case Lynx may require a new applicant to first have a claim before assigning credentials. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure you are set. After you are designated with your credentials, invoice to your hearts content!
We welcome your feedback to make working with the Networks as painless as possible. eDirectGlass' purpose is to put the power of billing back in your hands by using technology and proven business methodology. If you have any additional questions, please post them here or send us email. We are in the process of building a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) that will help answer these and other questions in the future.
Regards,
Gary Hart

One question that keeps getting brought up, so I want to clarify.
You do NOT need to use Delta Kits equipment to sign up for this service through us. There are no equipment requirements at all.
