Re: Going on 2 wheels
You know Jeff, I have never found a woman that DID NOT lke sitting on a rumbling Harley? Anyone that knows bikes knows what I am talking about here.
Jeff's other ride is probably an Escalade 4X4 with 24 inch one off chrome wheels and such. I forget the color that Caddy calls it but it is copper colored anyways.
I on the other hand could only afford a 4X4 Denali. And a Polaris Sportsman 700 EFI 4 wheeler.

Re: Going on 2 wheels
by JeffIt's my one toy I wasn't allowed to have when I was married before. Now, my fiance loves the bike and is completely willing to go with me. So, i've got that, then i've got a $800 92 Corolla! Of course then the kid mobile, but I either ride my bike or drive the Show Car (Corolla). Rust is really just a color, right? Like two-tone.
You give wsr a bad name with a show car like that;)

GlasWeldTech,
92 Corolla baby...Oxidized red, auto, upgraded squirrel for an engine...3 SPEED AUTO! Shakes and bakes at 70! Awful car, but dependable so far, and allows me to get my dream bike.
Wilz,
I know, I know, when I go do windshield repair, I take company vehicles. No way i'm showing up at a job site in THAT car!

The bike thing sounds innovative if you are in a metropolitan area but I am rural and the weather up here can be unpredictable at best.If you don't like the weather wait 15 minutes.
Re: Going on 2 wheels
Jeff, will you be allowed to keep your toy after you marry your fiancee any future time......?
Better get it in writing now , or else.......!

Just have the calls forwarded to your cell phone. When you get to the repair location simply look at your cell phone to see if you have any messages.scratchy;24343 wrote:The only problem is I won't be able to answer calls while riding so I will leave the business phone at home and check in after jobs to figure out where the next one is going to be.

Re: Going on 2 wheels
I'll have someone answer the phone at home and take down the information and put them in the schedule- trying to do it while riding is too dangerous.
I'll call home when I am ready for the next job and figure out where to go. I am already doing this every afternoon on 4 wheels as the phone starts ringing off the hook and I can't answer and fix a crack at the same time. I am fortunate to be doing this in cooperation with my spouse. Two heads are better than one.

Re: Going on 2 wheels
L.R We tend to use a lot of common sense when it comes to going on the bike I only go to dealers where I know there will be no problems and who have the same two wheeled interests. As for people logging on at different time's it is now 10 at night I do not wish to be out working now. where Delta is it is about 2 in the afternoon, this may explain your times. I have done my 5 hours and seven repairs at
33,000 + screen repairs over 18 years and still learning.
