Dude you have been around here about 10 minutes and really havnt earned the right to say much other than what do I do when this happens and from your posts I can tell you are pretty green at the trade
Stick to the stated purpose of the board to help others succeed in buisness and make better repairs not whine about what someone is doing I spent 20+ years in the autosales buisness I will tell you the same thing I was taught and I told my salesman when i moved up to mgr or trainer
Dont tell my why you failed tell me what you did to overcome objections and succeed
Prior to your arrival the board fell into the whine about everything mode and a bunch of the old time experts got sick of it and left when I see someone start in that dirrection Im always gonna say something try sitting back and learn something from guys actually making a living in the field like my Grandfather used to say "Eyes and ears open mouth shut and you might learn something"

These posts are not being very productive but I'll throw in my 2 cents in response to the original post. If I came across the same situation, I'd be concerned about what the customers view of a windshield repair would be. If those repairs look terrrible and are not properly filled, than the customers expectations are low and one can assume that they were not properly educated about what to expect after the repair was done.
Those of us on this forum ( we know who we are) that do proper repairs, how can we let this happen without speaking out, or not asking what should I do, if anything. How can any of us say it is not bad for our business.
This tech certainly is not certified, he does not follow the ROLAGS, I would call the BBB and hope the guy is quickly out of business!

You really shouldn't pass judgement on people like you do. You have no idea whether or not someone is failing or succeeding. Like I said before, just because someone mentions something they see as a problem doesn't mean they are weak, a failure, or incapable of overcoming issues. Didn't know one had to earn their right to speak on a public forum either. Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me.

Seldom discussions on the forum veer off, so please be respectful of others and try to stay on topic when posting on the windshield repair forum.
